Add a new knob WITH_DEBUG_FILES to control the building of standalone debug files for userland programs and libraries. The "-g" debug flag is automatically applied when WITH_DEBUG_FILES is set. The debug files are now named ${prog}.debug and ${shlib}.debug for consistency with other systems and documentation. In addition they are installed under /usr/lib/debug, to simplify the process of installing them if needed after a crash. Users of bsd.{prog,lib}.mk outside of the base system place the standalone debug files in a .debug subdirectory. GDB automatically searches both of these directories for standalone debug files. Thanks to everyone who contributed changes, review, and testing during development.

Install kernel debug data under /usr/lib/debug This avoids needing a large boot partition / file system in order to accommodate multiple kernels, and provides consistency with userland debug. This also simplifies the process of moving kernel debug files to a separate package and installing them on demand. In addition, change kernel debug file extension to .debug, to match userland debug files. When using the supported kernel installation method the /usr/lib/debug/boot/kernel directory will be renamed (to kernel.old) as is done with /boot/kernel. Developers wishing to maintain the historical behavior of installing debug files in /boot/kernel/ can set KERN_DEBUGDIR="" in src.conf(5). Connect libclang_rt to the build, for specific architectures. This contains the libraries for Address Sanitizer (asan), Undefined Behavior Sanitizer (ubsan) and Profile Guided Optimization. ASan is a fast memory error detector. It can detect the following types of bugs: Out-of-bounds accesses to heap, stack and globals Use-after-free Use-after-return (to some extent) Double-free, invalid free Memory leaks (experimental) Typical slowdown introduced by AddressSanitizer is 2x. UBSan is a fast and compatible undefined behavior checker. It enables a number of undefined behavior checks that have small runtime cost and no impact on address space layout or ABI. PLEASE NOTE: the sanitizers still have some rough edges on FreeBSD, particularly on i386. These will hopefully be smoothed out in the coming time.
