Update ZFS from version 6 to 13 and bring some FreeBSD-specific changes. This bring huge amount of changes, I'll enumerate only user-visible changes: - Delegated Administration Allows regular users to perform ZFS operations, like file system creation, snapshot creation, etc. - L2ARC Level 2 cache for ZFS - allows to use additional disks for cache. Huge performance improvements mostly for random read of mostly static content. - slog Allow to use additional disks for ZFS Intent Log to speed up operations like fsync(2). - vfs.zfs.super_owner Allows regular users to perform privileged operations on files stored on ZFS file systems owned by him. Very careful with this one. - chflags(2) Not all the flags are supported. This still needs work. - ZFSBoot Support to boot off of ZFS pool. Not finished, AFAIK. For amd64, compile both zfs and zfs32 libraries. We have a separate copy of zfs for userboot. However, we don't need it if we compile both 32 and 64 bit ZFS libraries. Remove redunant copies of zfs related .o files now that both versions are available. Introduce ZFSSRC and use it everywhere. Sponsored by: Netflix

gpt/zfs boot blocks: reduce optimizing CFLAGS to -O1 gpt and zfs boot blocks are not nearly as size-constrained as boot2 from which they inherited their current optimization and anti-optimization options. As such the current options do not provide any benefit, but make debugging of the code much harder. Also, it has been demonstrated that combination of -mrtd and -fno-unit-at-a-time may result in mis-compilation of the boot code with the current base gcc. Additionally, intermediate assembly file filtering is removed for zfsboot. The new boot blocks are all compile- and boot- tested using qemu. gptzfsboot is tested with real hardware. zfsbootcfg: a simple tool to set next boot (one time) options for zfsboot (gpt)zfsboot will read one-time boot directives from a special ZFS pool area. The area was previously described as "Boot Block Header", but currently it is know as Pad2, marked as reserved and is zeroed out on pool creation. The new code interprets data in this area, if any, using the same format as boot.config. The area is immediately wiped out. Failure to parse the directives results in a reboot right after the cleanup. Otherwise the boot sequence proceeds as usual. zfsbootcfg writes zfsboot arguments specified on its command line to the Pad2 area of a disk identified by vfs.zfs.boot.primary_pool and vfs.zfs.boot.primary_vdev kenv variables that are set by loader during boot. Add SHA512, skein, large blocks support for loader zfs. Updated sha512 from illumos. Using skein from freebsd crypto tree. Since loader itself is using 64MB memory for heap, updated zfsboot to use same, and this also allows to support zfs large blocks. Note, adding additional features does increate zfsboot code, therefore this update does increase zfsboot code to 128k, also I have ported gptldr.S update to zfsldr.S to support 64k+ code. With this update, boot1.efi has almost reached the current limit of the size set for it, so one of the future patches for boot1.efi will need to increase the limit. Fix build of stand with base gcc * Make autoboot() a static function in stand/common/boot.c, so it does not shadow local variables in gptboot.c and zfsboot.c. * Remove -Winline from the Makefiles for gptboot, gptzfsboot and zfsboot, as gcc will always fail to inline some functions, and there is nothing we can do about it. * For gcc <= 4.2.1, silence -Wuninitialized for isoboot, as it produces a false positive warning. * Remove deprecated and unnecessary -mcpu=i386 flag from stand/defs.mk, as there is already a -march=i386 flag further in the file. Install the 4th files in sys/boot/forth instead of each loader Also, move generation of loader.help into loader.mk. Set HELP_FILES= to disable this (so we only install one help file, for now). At the same time remove some duplicate -I lines. Fix several FILES= and CLEANFILES= into the += form since we're touching both of those in the .mk files. Make sure we only build one loader.help file per platform in a unified way (we were building many on some, with the last to install winning, though often they were the same text). Also, we're now installing loader.rc and menu.rc everywhere. arm and mips uboot installed these as menu.rc.sample, but there's no need since the loader.rc for those platforms doesn't do menu.rc processing by default. pcibios.4th is now installed everywhere, but will failsafe on non x86 platforms (it isn't loaded by default anywhere). These changes are too intertwined to do separately since aspects of each are required to have a bug-free commit. Sponsored by: Netflix

For sys/boot/i386 and sys/boot/pc98, separate flags to be passed directly to the linker (LD_FLAGS) from flags passed indirectly, via the compiler driver (LDFLAGS). This is because several Makefiles under sys/boot/i386 and sys/boot/pc98 use ${LD} directly to link, and the normal LDFLAGS value should not be used in these cases. MFC after: 3 days

Move LOADER_{NO,}_GELI_SUPPORT to MK_LOADER_GELI Transition to WITH/WITHOUT_LOADER_GELI to flag support or not of GELI in the boot loaders. Add HAVE_GELI so components can flag they need support (since it's too large to include everywhere). Add temporary warnings for the old forms to ease transition. Move LOADER_{NO,}_GELI_SUPPORT to MK_LOADER_GELI Transition to WITH/WITHOUT_LOADER_GELI to flag support or not of GELI in the boot loaders. Add HAVE_GELI so components can flag they need support (since it's too large to include everywhere). Add temporary warnings for the old forms to ease transition. Move ZFS files into libsa Move the libzfs stuff into libsa. There's no need for it to be a separate library. The separate library adds to the issues of build ordering that we see from time to time. Due to space constraints, the UFS boot2 and boot1 use an evil hack where boot2 calls back into boot1 to perform disk reads. The ZFS MBR boot blocks do not have the same space constraints, so remove this hack for ZFS. While here, remove commented out code to support C/H/S addressing from zfsldr. The ZFS and GPT bootstraps always just use EDD LBA addressing. MFC after: 2 weeks
