The xinstall problem has been corrected.
The xinstall problem has kinda sorta been corrected. The
following is known to work by the author of UPDATING. It
is what he did to update his laptop. It is likely the same
effect as the work around listed in 20000129.

make clean all install NOSHARED=YES
cd ../..
make installworld
