From 3dc31d3a9c2ae2ae290f9f4f045ed3aa8cd0982b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Marcel Moolenaar Date: Sat, 7 Dec 2013 02:20:22 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Remove "Warning: file \"%s\" unreadable". It was introduced with revision 44599 and turned less than useful ever since fortunes-o.dat got removed. Running "fortunes -a" is enough to always see it for fortunes-o.dat. Since we compile with debugging enabled, the removal is easily compensated for by running "fortune -D -D". --- games/fortune/fortune/fortune.c | 4 ---- 1 file changed, 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/games/fortune/fortune/fortune.c b/games/fortune/fortune/fortune.c index 4b2ffa750bc6..2fb2be0e249e 100644 --- a/games/fortune/fortune/fortune.c +++ b/games/fortune/fortune/fortune.c @@ -806,10 +806,6 @@ is_fortfile(const char *file, char **datp, char **posp, int check_for_offend) strcat(datfile, ".dat"); if (access(datfile, R_OK) < 0) { DPRINTF(2, (stderr, "FALSE (no readable \".dat\" file)\n")); -#ifdef DEBUG - if (Debug < 2) - DPRINTF(0, (stderr, "Warning: file \"%s\" unreadable\n", datfile)); -#endif free(datfile); return (FALSE); }
