7b3ea376a2 META MODE: Prefer INSTALL=tools/install.sh to lessen the need for xinstall.host. 
This both avoids some dependencies on xinstall.host and allows
bootstrapping on older releases to work due to lack of at least 'install -l'
support.

ccfb965433 Add META_MODE support. 
Off by default, build behaves normally.
WITH_META_MODE we get auto objdir creation, the ability to
start build from anywhere in the tree.

Still need to add real targets under targets/ to build packages.

3ca3047aee Bump the version of all non-symbol-versioned shared libraries in 
preparation for 8.0-RELEASE.  Add the previous version of those
libraries to ObsoleteFiles.inc and bump __FreeBSD_Version.

d7e394992c Supply SMB_CFG_FILE in CFLAGS. The newly imported smbfs-1.4.2 
allows us to supply our own value for this, overriding the
default /usr/local/etc/nsmb.conf, which is not appropriate for
base system configuration files.

85519b003a Add bmake glue for src/contrib/smbfs and connect userland smbfs 
support to the build.
