- Include <machine/tls.h> in MD rtld_machdep.h headers. - Remove local definitions of TLS_* constants from rtld_machdep.h headers and libc using the values from <machine/tls.h> instead. - Use _tcb_set() instead of inlined versions in MD allocate_initial_tls() routines in rtld. The one exception is amd64 whose _tcb_set() invokes the amd64_set_fsbase ifunc. rtld cannot use ifuncs, so amd64 inlines the logic to optionally write to fsbase directly. - Use _tcb_set() instead of _set_tp() in libc. - Use '&_tcb_get()->tcb_dtv' instead of _get_tp() in both rtld and libc. This permits removing _get_tp.c from rtld. - Use TLS_TCB_SIZE and TLS_TCB_ALIGN with allocate_tls() in MD allocate_initial_tls() routines in rtld. FreeBSD Source:
This is the top level of the FreeBSD source directory.
FreeBSD is an operating system used to power modern servers, desktops, and embedded platforms. A large community has continually developed it for more than thirty years. Its advanced networking, security, and storage features have made FreeBSD the platform of choice for many of the busiest web sites and most pervasive embedded networking and storage devices.

The Makefile in this directory supports a number of targets for building components (or all) of the FreeBSD source tree. See build(7), config(8), FreeBSD handbook on building userland, and Handbook for kernels for more information, including setting make(1) variables.
