For v2, iflib will parse packet headers before queueing a packet. This commit also adds a new field in the structure that holds parsed header information from packets; it stores the IP ToS/traffic class field found in the IPv4/IPv6 header. To help, it will only partially parse header packets before queueing them by using a new header parsing function that does less than the current parsing header function; for our purposes we only need up to the minimal IP header in order to get the IP ToS infromation and don't need to pull up more data. For now, v1 and v2 co-exist in this patch; v1 still offers a less-invasive method where none of the packet is parsed in iflib before queueing. This also bumps the sys/param.h version. FreeBSD Source:
This is the top level of the FreeBSD source directory.
FreeBSD is an operating system used to power modern servers, desktops, and embedded platforms. A large community has continually developed it for more than thirty years. Its advanced networking, security, and storage features have made FreeBSD the platform of choice for many of the busiest web sites and most pervasive embedded networking and storage devices.
For copyright information, please see the file COPYRIGHT in this directory. Additional copyright information also exists for some sources in this tree - please see the specific source directories for more information.
The Makefile in this directory supports a number of targets for building components (or all) of the FreeBSD source tree. See build(7), config(8), FreeBSD handbook on building userland, and Handbook for kernels for more information, including setting make(1) variables.
