Poul-Henning Kamp a3dbba7a60 Yves has sent us a ~600 Kb patch, which shuts up gcc entirely for the ... entire kernel. Unfortunately we didn't send him a copy of the style guide before he did it. I'm trying to find all the benign and downright sound bits and will commit them without any other explanation than "YF fix" if they are merely cosmetic.
