jb 0ce0de21a6 Upgrade the cpp pre-defines to include -Dunix. Turns out we need that 
to compile m4.

And don't just define __FreeBSD__, but define it as -D__FreeBSD__=3
like on i386.

This directory contains machine-specific files for the GNU C compiler.
It has a subdirectory for each basic CPU type.
The only files in this directory itself
are some .h files that pertain to particular operating systems
and are used for more than one CPU type.
