In FreeBSD the struct uio was just a typedef to uio_t. In order to extend this struct, outside of the definition for the struct uio, the struct uio has been embedded inside of a uio_t struct. Also renamed all the uio_* interfaces to be zfs_uio_* to make it clear this is a ZFS interface. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels

METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are 12-STABLE and 13-CURRENT.
