Buffer locking code failed to use BUF_KERNPROC and BUF_UNLOCK and

BUF_LOCKFREE a buffer prior to physically freeing it.  While these
    bugs did not cause a crash, they might in the future.

    Added eof handling for unlabeled partitions.
