7e6cabd06e Renumber copyright clause 4
Renumber cluase 4 to 3, per what everybody else did when BSD granted
them permission to remove clause 3. My insistance on keeping the same
numbering for legal reasons is too pedantic, so give up on that point.

0f4a2250a0 sigprocmask(2): pthread_sigmask(3) must be used in threaded processes.
Although libthr's pthread_sigmask() just calls sigprocmask() and this is
unlikely to change, mention this POSIX requirement on applications.

c00d8c0364 Unify cross-references between sigpending(2), sigprocmask(2),
and sigsuspend(2), all three of which operate or depend on the
process signal mask.

Add a missing xref to sigsetops(3), without which the above three
syscalls would be useless.

a4b155d7a2 mdoc(7) police: Tidy up the syscall language.
Stop calling system calls "function calls".

Use "The .Fn system call" a-la "The .Nm utility".

When referring to a non-BSD implementation in
the HISTORY section, call syscall a function,
to be safe.

947e91552f Correct the regressive part of my last commit to these files:
use the .Fn macro instead of the .Fo ... .Fc combination to
format function prototypes.

4ab3b5c0e7 Add the 'restrict' type qualifier to the prototypes of `sigaction',
`sigprocmask', `sigaltstack', and `sigwait' as well as to the
prototypes of the apparantly unimplemented functions `sigtimedwait'
and `sigwaitinfo'. This complies with IEEE Std 1003.1-2001.

f7a8bc4c04 Add $Id$, to make it simpler for members of the translation teams to
track.

The $Id$ line is normally at the bottom of the main comment block in the
man page, separated from the rest of the manpage by an empty comment,
like so;

     .\" $Id$
     .\"

If the immediately preceding comment is a @(#) format ID marker than the
the $Id$ will line up underneath it with no intervening blank lines.
Otherwise, an additional blank line is inserted.

89efa29a7d sigprocmask()' man page references sigmask()' in synopsis.
Note odd `sigmask()' line in synopsis. `sigsetops(3)' is better suited
for `sigprocmask' and is already referenced from the manual page.
(`sigmask()' is useful for the older (& deprecated) `sigsetmask()' API).

Use the correct .Bx (BSD UNIX) or .At (AT&T UNIX) macros
instead of explicitly specifying the version in the text
in a bunch of man pages.
