da8f99c491 Sigh. Ok, now that these have been uncovered by fixing the Makefile,

5ccb36be53 Add datfiles to SUBDIR for obj target too. "make install" wrote to the 
source directory and failed when the source directory was nfs mounted.
This was fixed in 1.1.5.  Sigh.
