d7526586c0 Fix leap year comments. 2000 is a leap year, so code without a century-test 
still works until 2100.

142da85ef5 Use sysctl() rather than kvm_read() when getting information 
about clock stuff from kernel.
This fixes xntpd on alpha.

8aeb1f4ecc Remove all references to tickadj(8) from rc, rc.conf and rc.conf.5. 
Disable building tickadj(8) by removing util from SUBDIR in the xntpd
Makefile. Note that the sources are still there and tickadj can still
be built and installed by doing:

# cd /usr/src/usr.sbin/xntpd/util
# make all install

There are enough references to tickadj in e.g. the xntpd documentation
(not to mention the sysctl variables it uses etc.) that I don't feel
up to implementing the final solution right now.

adad8e3b30 Use foo/bar.a' instead of -Lfoo -lbar' for linking to static internal 
libraries so that `ld -f' in can create correct dependencies for
yet-to-be-built libraries.

Get the default BINDIR correctly (by including ../Makefile.inc recursively.

808a36ef65 Make the long-awaited change from $Id$ to $FreeBSD$ 
This will make a number of things easier in the future, as well as (finally!)
avoiding the Id-smashing problem which has plagued developers for so long.

Boy, I'm glad we're not using sup anymore.  This update would have been
insane otherwise.

aee5955ac4 Apply patch in pr 2067 to correct an uninitialized pointer dereference 
in tickadj.  Tested briefly here and it it seems to work.

Possible 2.2 candidate.

d3ecee07b3 Fix up programs which expect <net/if.h> to include <sys/time.h> to instead 
do it themselves.  (Some of these programs actually depended on this
beyond compiling the definition of struct ifinfo!)  Also fix up some
other #include messes while we're at it.

cfa8b15392 Added missing data to a struct initializer by copying it from similar 
initializers.  This may not be correct, but the initializer shouldn't
have compiled before.

a9ecce3895 Correct the manpage for the -o flag. Formerly it was a single flag, now 
it requires a version number for the flag. Also correct the manpage to
tell the user ntpdate now uses version 3 as default.

2bffdfd11d Patches to make this work with FreeBSD with the DCF77 Boeder Receiver. 
This is only useful to European users (esp. Germans) as DCF77 transmits
from Frankfurt.
