tijl 6bed8a7a7e - Remove separate handling of /bin and /usr/bin in manpath. They are no
longer a special case.
- Prefer PREFIX/share/man over PREFIX/man.
- Add /usr/local/share/man to man_default_path.
- Update manpath man page.

utility determines the user's manual search path from

This result is echoed to the standard output.

.Sh IMPLEMENTATION NOTES
The
.Nm
utility constructs the manual path from two sources:

From each component of the user's
.Ev PATH
for the first of:

.Pa pathname/MAN

If pathname ends with /bin:
.Pa pathname/../share/man
and
.Pa pathname/../man

The configuration files listed in the
.Sx FILES
section for

entries.

The information from these locations is then concatenated together.

flag is set, the
.Nm
utility will search the configuration files listed in the
.Sx FILES

entries.

The following environment variables affect the execution of
