complete the boot and enter into sysinstall, and only then inserts a CD into the CDROM drive and tries to select that as the install media the first call to mount(2) generates EIO but the second call to mount(2) will succeed. This was 100% reproducible on 6.2-RELEASE, RELENG_6, and HEAD. If the user inserts the disc into the CDROM while the machine is booting off the floppies the first call to mount(2) succeeds with no problems. This is the top level of the FreeBSD source directory. The Makefile in this directory supports a number of targets for building components (or all) of the FreeBSD source tree, the most commonly used one being ``world'', which rebuilds and installs everything in the FreeBSD system from the source tree except the kernel, the kernel-modules and the contents of /etc. The ``world'' target should only be used in cases where the source tree has not changed from the currently running version. The ``buildkernel'' and ``installkernel'' targets build and install the kernel and the modules (see below).
