4175729d01 examples/l3fwd-power: fix Rx descriptor size
L3fwd power app monitors the RX queues to see if the polling frequency
should be adjusted (the busier the queue, the higher the frequency).
The app uses several thresholds in the ring to determine the frequency,
being 96 the highest one, when frequency should be highest.

The problem is that the difference between this value and the ring size
is not big enough (128 - 96 = 32 descriptors), which means that
if the descriptors are not replenished quick enough, queue might
not be busy, but the app would think that it is, because 96th descriptor
is set.

Therefore, by increasing this gap (increasing the RX ring size),
we make sure that this false measurement will not happen.

9d5ca53239 examples: fix optind reset
The variable optind should be reset to one not zero.

From the man page:
"The variable optind is the index of the next element to be processed in
argv. The system initializes this value to 1.
The caller can reset it to 1 to restart scanning of the same argv, or when
scanning a new argument vector.”

The problem I saw with my application was trying to parse the wrong
option, which can happen as DPDK parses the first part of the command line
and the application parses the second part. If you call getopt() multiple
times in the same execution, the behavior is not maintained when using
zero for optind.

aee3bc79cc examples/l3fwd-power: enable one-shot Rx interrupt and polling switch
The patch demonstrates how to handle per rx queue interrupt in a NAPI-like
implementation in userspace. The working thread mainly runs in polling mode
and switch to interrupt mode only if there is no packet received in recent polls.
The working thread returns to polling mode immediately once it receives an
interrupt notification caused by the incoming packets.
The sample keeps running in polling mode if the binding PMD hasn't supported
the rx interrupt yet. Now only ixgbe(pf/vf) and igb support it.

824cb29c0e apps: fix default mbuf size
Latest mbuf changes (priv_size addition and related fixes)
exposed small problem with testpmd and few other sample apps:
when mbuf size is exaclty 2KB or less, that causes
ixgbe PMD to select scattered RX even for configs with 'normal'
max packet length (max_rx_pkt_len == ETHER_MAX_LEN).
To overcome that problem and unify the code, new macro was created
to represent recommended minimal buffer length for mbuf.
When appropriate, samples are updated to use that macro.

ea672a8b16 mbuf: remove the rte_pktmbuf structure
The rte_pktmbuf structure was initially included in the rte_mbuf
structure. This was needed when there was 2 types of mbuf (ctrl and
packet). As the control mbuf has been removed, we can merge the
rte_pktmbuf into the rte_mbuf structure.

Advantages of doing this:
  - the access to mbuf fields is easier (ex: m->data instead of m->pkt.data)
  - make the structure more consistent: for instance, there was no reason
to have the ol_flags field in rte_mbuf
  - it will allow a deeper reorganization of the rte_mbuf structure in the
next commits, allowing to gain several bytes in it
