As an arrangement to the vitrio queues creation, a 2 QPs and CQ may be
created for the virtio queue.
The design is to trigger an event for the guest and for the vdpa driver
when a new CQE is posted by the HW after the packet transition.
This patch add the basic operations to create and destroy the above HW
objects and to trigger the CQE events when a new CQE is posted.

Add a new driver to support vDPA operations by Mellanox devices.
The first Mellanox devices which support vDPA operations are
ConnectX-6 Dx and Bluefield1 HCA for their PF ports and VF ports.
This driver is depending on rdma-core like the mlx5 PMD, also it is
going to use mlx5 DevX to create HW objects directly by the FW.
Hence, the common/mlx5 library is linked to the mlx5_vdpa driver.
This driver will not be compiled by default due to the above
dependencies.
Register a new log type for this driver.

Before C0 HW revision, The RSS adder was computed based the following
static formula.
rss_adder<7:0> = flow_tag<7:0> ^ flow_tag<15:8> ^
flow_tag<23:16> ^ flow_tag<31:24>
The above scheme has the following drawbacks:
1) It is not in line with other standard NIC behavior.
2) There can be an SW use case where SW can compute the hash
upfront using Toeplitz function and predict the queue selection
to optimize some packet lookup function. The nonstandard
way of doing XOR makes the consumer to not predict the queue selection.
C0 HW revision onward, The HW can configure the
rss_adder<7:0> as flow_tag<7:0> to align with standard NICs.
This patch adds an option to select legacy RSS adder mode
using tag_as_xor=1 devargs option while keeping the standard NIC
behavior as default.

Use the MLX5_ASSERT macros instead of the standard assert clause.
Depends on the RTE_LIBRTE_MLX5_DEBUG configuration option to define it.
If RTE_LIBRTE_MLX5_DEBUG is enabled MLX5_ASSERT is equal to RTE_VERIFY
to bypass the global CONFIG_RTE_ENABLE_ASSERT option.
If RTE_LIBRTE_MLX5_DEBUG is disabled, the global CONFIG_RTE_ENABLE_ASSERT
can still make this assert active by calling RTE_VERIFY inside RTE_ASSERT.

Add new 4 Netlink commands to support enable/disable ROCE:
1. mlx5_nl_devlink_family_id_get to get the Devlink family ID of
Netlink general command.
2. mlx5_nl_enable_roce_get to get the ROCE current status.
3. mlx5_nl_driver_reload - to reload the device kernel driver.
4. mlx5_nl_enable_roce_set - to set the ROCE status.
When the user changes the ROCE status, the IB device may disappear and
appear again, so DPDK driver should wait for it and to restart itself.

Move Netlink mechanism and its dependencies from net/mlx5 to
common/mlx5 in order to be ready to use by other mlx5 drivers.
The dependencies are BITFIELD defines, the ppc64 compilation workaround
for bool type and the function mlx5_translate_port_name.

There might be a case that one Mellanox device can be probed by
multiple mlx5 drivers.
One case is that any mlx5 vDPA device can be probed by both net/mlx5
and vdpa/mlx5.
Add a new mlx5 common API to get the requested driver by devargs:
class=[net/vdpa].
Skip net/mlx5 PMD probing while the device is selected to be probed by
the vDPA driver.

QP creation is needed for vDPA virtq support.
Add 2 DevX commands to create QP and to modify QP state.
The support is for RC QP only in force loopback address mode.
By this way, the packets can be sent to other inernal destinations in
the nic. For example: other QPs or virtqs.

Virtio emulation offload allows SW to offload the I/O operations of a
virtio virtqueue, using the device, allowing an improved performance
for its users.
While supplying all the relevant Virtqueue information (type, size,
memory location, doorbell information, etc.). The device can then
offload the I/O operation of this queue, according to its device type
characteristics.
Some of the virtio features can be supported according to the device
capability, for example, TSO and checksum.
Add virtio queue create, modify and query DevX commands.

The isolated, protected and independent direct access to the HW by
multiple processes is implemented via User Access Region (UAR)
mechanism.
The UAR is part of PCI address space that is mapped for direct access to
the HW from the CPU.
UAR is comprised of multiple pages, each page containing registers that
control the HW operation.
UAR mechanism is used to post execution or control requests to the HW.
It is used by the HW to enforce protection and isolation between
different processes.
Add a glue command to allocate and free an UAR.

Add option to create an indirect mkey by the current
mlx5_devx_cmd_mkey_create command.
Indirect mkey points to set of direct mkeys.
By this way, the HW\SW can reference fragmented memory by one object.
Align the net/mlx5 driver usage in the above command.

A new Mellanox vdpa PMD will be added to support vdpa operations by
Mellanox adapters.
This vdpa PMD design includes mlx5_glue and mlx5_devx operations and
large parts of them are shared with the net/mlx5 PMD.
Create a new common library in drivers/common for mlx5 PMDs.
Move mlx5_glue, mlx5_devx_cmds and their dependencies to the new mlx5
common library in drivers/common.
The files mlx5_devx_cmds.c, mlx5_devx_cmds.h, mlx5_glue.c,
mlx5_glue.h and mlx5_prm.h are moved as is from drivers/net/mlx5 to
drivers/common/mlx5.
Share the log mechanism macros.
Separate also the log mechanism to allow different log level control to
the common library.
Build files and version files are adjusted accordingly.
Include lines are adjusted accordingly.

Extend RSS offload types for octeontx2. Add support to select
L3 SRC, L3 DST, L4 SRC and L4 DST for RSS calculation.
Add support to select L3 SRC or DST only, L4 SRC or DST only for RSS
calculation.
With this requirement there will be following combinations,
IPV[4,6]_SRC_ONLY, IPV[4,6]_DST_ONLY, [TCP,UDP,SCTP]_SRC_ONLY,
[TCP,UDP,SCTP]_DST_ONLY. So, instead of creating a bit for each
combination, we are using upper 4 bits (31:28) in the flow_key_cfg
to represent the SRC, DST selection. 31 => L3_SRC, 30 => L3_DST,
29 => L4_SRC, 28 => L4_DST. These won't be part of flow_cfg, so that
we don't need to change the existing ABI.

API makes think that rte_cryptodev_info_get() cannot return
a value >= 3 (RTE_CRYPTO_AEAD_LIST_END in 19.11).
20.02-rc1 was returning 3 (RTE_CRYPTO_AEAD_CHACHA20_POLY1305).
So the ABI compatibility contract was broken.
It could be solved with some function versioning,
but because a lack of time, the feature is reverted for now.
This reverts following commits:

Avoid using PCI subsystem device id for SoC revision
identification and just use PCI revision id to support C0 silicon.
This patch also reduces SQB threshold to 70% to have

This patch implements handling mixed encrypted digest hash-cipher
requests (e.g. SNOW3G + ZUC or ZUC + AES CTR) possible when running
on GEN3 QAT. Such algorithm combinations are not supported on
GEN1/GEN2 hardware.

Remove the limitation whereby enqueue and dequeue must be
done in same thread.
The inflight calculation is reworked to be thread-safe for 2
threads - note this is not general multi-thread support, i.e
all enqueues to a qp must still be done in one thread and
all dequeues must be done in one thread, but enqueues and
dequeues may be in separate threads.

serve any useful purpose, and can be removed.

Issue has been observed if PTP is already enabled on PF and
later VFs are configured. Since PTP requires mbuf data off
to be shifted by 8 bytes, due to this l3fwd/l2fwd was not
working with VFs.
Also some extra garbage bytes were observed in packet data
when ptp was enabled.

System DPI Packet Interface Unit (SDP) is a co-processor
of OCTEON TX2 which provides PCIe endpoint support for a
remote host to DMA packets into and out of the OCTEON TX2 SoC.
SDP interface comes in to live only when it is connected in
EP mode. It exposes input and output queue pairs to remote host
for instruction input and packet output. It can be used as
a communication channel between remote host and OCTEON TX2.
Host machine needs to use corresponding user/kernel mode
driver to communicate with SDP interface on OCTEON TX2 SoC.
SDP interface support is limited to SDP PF device now.
No SDP VF support.

As per RFC3686, the initial aes-ctr counter value should be '1' for use
in ipsec. The patches changes SEC descriptor for using correct counter
value. In addition, it drops a redundant parameter for passing IV while
creating the descriptor.

'cpt_logtype' & 'otx_cryptodev_driver_id' global variables are defined
in a header file which was causing multiple definitions of the
variables. Fixed it by moving the required vars to the .c file and
introducing a new macro so the CPT_LOG macros in common/cpt would use
the associated PMD log var.
Issue has been detected by '-fno-common' gcc flag.

With the latest firmware, there are few changes for zuc and snow3g.
1. The iv_source is present in bitfield 7 of minor opcode. In the
old firmware this was present in bitfield 6.
2. Algorithm type is a 2 bit field in new firmware. In the old
firmware it was named as cipher type and it was a 1 bit field.

Octeontx2 PMD's mailbox client uses device memory to send messages
to mailbox server in the admin function Linux kernel driver.
The device memory used for the mailbox communication needs to
be qualified as volatile memory type to avoid unaligned device
memory accesses because of compiler's memory access coalescing.
This patch modifies the mailbox request and responses as volatile
type which were non-volatile earlier and accessed from unaligned
memory addresses which resulted in bus errors on Fedora 30 with
gcc 9.1.1.

OTX2 AP core can sometimes fissure STP instructions when it is more
optimal to send such writes into the pipeline as 2 separate
instructions. However registers should be excluded from such
optimization. This commit ensures that no CSR write is ever fissured
by introducing zero cost workaround by setting STP pre-index by zero to
make sure OTX2 AP core prevent fissure.

This patch implements read clock api whose purpose is to return
raw clock ticks. Using this API real time ticks spent in
processing a packet can be known:
<read_clock val at any time> - mbuf->timestamp
Calling mbox for reading raw clock ticks in fastpath is very
expensive so its value is derived from time stamp counter(tsc)
using freq multiplier (ratio of raw clock ticks and tsc) and clock
delta (by how much tsc is lagging from raw clock value).

Putting color escape sequences in the log look pretty for the
developer but fails in real world DPDK usage. A real application
will put DPDK log to syslog, and syslog does not handle escape
sequences.

Update platform support of CNF95xx in documentation and

forward to AF and enable FLR for VFs.

The events like PHY link status change by AF or PHY configuration
change by PF would call for the uplink message.
The AF initiated uplink would land it in PF and PF would further
forward to VF(if it is intended for that specific VF)
The PF initiated uplink would be distributed to all active VFs.
This patch adds support for the same.

PF has additional responsibility being server for VF messages
and forward to AF and once AF process it then forward
the response back to VF.
otx2_vf_pf_mbox_irq() will process the VF mailbox request and
af_pf_wait_msg() will until getting a response back from AF.

This patch adds support for AF to PF mailbox interrupt and message
handling. PF writes the message on mapped mailbox region
followed by writing the mailbox doorbell register. Upon receiving,
the mailbox request in AF(In Linux kernel), It processes the messages
and update the counter memory and update the AF mbox doorbell
register. That would trigger a VFIO interrupt to userspace and
otx2_process_msgs() will handle it.

The mempool device(NPA) may be provisioned as a standalone device or
it can be part of ethdev/eventdev device. In order to address
mempool as standalone or integrated with ethdev/eventdev device,
An intra device structure being introduced.
When the _first_ ethdev/eventdev PCIe device or standalone mempool(NPA)
devices get probed by the eal PCI subsystem,
The NPA object(struct otx2_npa_lf) stored in otx2_dev base class.
Once it is accomplished, the other consumer drivers like
ethdev driver or eventdev driver use otx2_npa_* API to operate on
shared NPA object.
The similar concept followed for SSO object, Which needs to share between
PCIe devices.

Introduce otx2_dev class to hold octeontx2 PCIe device specific
information and operations.
All PCIe drivers(ethdev, mempool, cryptodev and eventdev) in octeontx2,
inherits this base object to avail the common functionalities such

Each RVU device has a dedicated 64KB mailbox region
shared with its peer for communication. RVU AF has
a separate mailbox region shared with each of RVU PFs
and an RVU PF has a separate region shared with each of
it's VF.
This patch add use 64KB memory and implemented mailbox
send and receive support.
These set of APIs are used by this driver (RVU AF) and
other RVU PF/VF drivers eg ethdev, cryptodev e.t.c.

The admin function driver sits in Linux kernel as mailbox
server. The DPDK AF mailbox client, send the message to mailbox
server to complete the administrative task such as get mac
address.
This patch adds mailbox request and response definition of
existing mailbox defined between AF driver and DPDK driver.

Various octeontx2 drivers use IO handling API, added octeontx2
specific IO handling routines in the common code.
Since some of those implementations are based on arm64 instructions
added the stub to compile the code on non arm64 ISA.
The non arm64 ISA stub is possible due to the fact that
it is an integrated controller i.e runs only on Marvell HW.

Add the make and meson based build infrastructure along with
HW definition header file.
This patch adds skeleton otx2_mbox.c file to make sure
all header files are intact, subsequent patches add content
to otx2_mbox.c
This patch also updates CONFIG_RTE_MAX_VFIO_GROUPS
value to 128 as the system can have up to 128 PFs/VFs.
For octeontx2 meson build target, CONFIG_RTE_MAX_VFIO_GROUPS
defined as 128 so no additional changes required.

By default on 32-bit systems, file offsets are given as 32-bit values
which prevents support for large files. While this is unlikely to be
a problem, enabling large file support globally makes "make" and
"meson" builds consistent, since meson always enables large file
support, and without this change, the size of "struct stat" fields
will be different between the two builds.
The only location where this appears to be significant is in the
dpaax common code, where a printf needs to be updated for 32-bit
builds.

The metabuf pool is shared across all queue pairs belonging to the
PMD. In order to prevent one queue pair from starving another,
use a distinct mempool for each queue pair.

The check for prep_req is good enough to flag error. The return var
passed around is redundant. Fixing this. Also making the functions

DPAAX is a library used by various NXP drivers. In case of non-NXP
environment, this start spewing message about unavailability of
necessary environment.
This patch reduces the log level for certain messages as well as
reduces overall log-level. As a library, these message are not
necessarily relevant at higher log level, either.

There is a possibility that either because of missing device tree entry
or lack of memory, the PA-VA table might not be available. But, the
table being transparent, the callers don't necessary check for its
initialization state. This is explicitly done during update and
translation call.

If QAT crypto pmd failed to be created due to reaching MAX
cryptodevs it prevented QAT comp PMD being created. And vice versa.
Change to warning in these cases and allow the other PMD to be created.

A common library, valid for dpaaX drivers, which is used to maintain
a local copy of PA->VA translations.
In case of physical addressing mode (one of the option for FSLMC, and
only option for DPAA bus), the addresses of descriptors Rx'd are
physical. These need to be converted into equivalent VA for rte_mbuf
and other similar calls.
Using the rte_mem_virt2iova or rte_mem_virt2phy is expensive. This
library is an attempt to reduce the overall cost associated with
this translation.
A small table is maintained, containing continuous entries
representing a continguous physical range. Each of these entries
stores the equivalent VA, which is fed during mempool creation, or
memory allocation/deallocation callbacks.

Add MVEP (Marvell Embedded Processors) to drivers/common which
will keep code reused by current and future MRVL PMDs.
Right now we have only common DMA memory initialization routines there.

This patch refactors the sgl struct so it includes a flexible
array of flat buffers as sym and compress PMDs can have
different size sgls.

Now that all the device operations are available,
add the functions to create and destroy the pmd.
Called on probe and remove of the qat pci device, these
register the device with the compressdev API
and plug in all the device functionality.

Add Makefiles, meson files, and empty source files for compression PMD.
Handle cases for building either symmetric crypto PMD
or compression PMD or both and the common files both depend on.

A constructor is usually declared with RTE_INIT* macros.
As it is a static function, no need to declare before its definition.
The macro is used directly in the function definition.
