Passing an uint32_t pointer to an enum pointer parameter causes
pointer-sign warning on Windows (converts between pointers to
integer types with different sign), since enum is implicitly
converted to int on Windows.
And the current enum pointer parameter of that function is actually
misleading and should be fixed as an uint32_t pointer parameter.

In this case, the segment fault happens. So rte_eth_dev_configure()

Right now, rte_flow_shared_action_* APIs are used for some shared
actions, like RSS, count. The shared action should be created before
using it inside a flow. These shared actions sometimes are not
really shared but just some indirect actions decoupled from a flow.
The new functions rte_flow_action_handle_* are added to replace
the current shared functions rte_flow_shared_action_*.
There are two types of flow actions:
1. the direct (normal) actions that could be created and stored
within a flow rule. Such action is tied to its flow rule and
cannot be reused.
2. the indirect action, in the past, named shared_action. It is
created from a direct actioni, like count or rss, and then used
in the flow rules with an object handle. The PMD will take care
of the retrieve from indirect action to the direct action
when it is referenced.
The indirect action is accessed (update / query) w/o any flow rule,
just via the action object handle. For example, when querying or
resetting a counter, it could be done out of any flow using this
counter, but only the handle of the counter action object is
required.
The indirect action object could be shared by different flows or
used by a single flow, depending on the direct action type and
the real-life requirements.
The handle of an indirect action object is opaque and defined in
each driver and possibly different per direct action type.
The old name "shared" is improper in a sense and should be replaced.
Since the APIs are changed from "rte_flow_shared_action*" to the new
"rte_flow_action_handle*", the testpmd application code and command
line interfaces also need to be updated to do the adaption.
The testpmd application user guide is also updated. All the "shared
action" related parts are replaced with "indirect action" to have a
correct explanation.
The parameter of "update" interface is also changed. A general
pointer will replace the rte_flow_action struct pointer due to the
facts:
1. Some action may not support fields updating. In the example of a
counter, the only "update" supported should be the reset. So
passing a rte_flow_action struct pointer is meaningless and
there is even no such corresponding action struct. What's more,
if more than one operations should be supported, for some other
action, such pointer parameter may not meet the need.
2. Some action may need conditional or partial update, the current
parameter will not provide the ability to indicate which part(s)
to update.
For different types of indirect action objects, the pointer could
either be the same of rte_flow_action* struct - in order not to
break the current driver implementation, or some wrapper
structures with bits as masks to indicate which part to be
updated, depending on real needs of the corresponding direct
action. For different direct actions, the structures of indirect
action objects updating will be different.
All the underlayer PMD callbacks will be moved to these new APIs.
The RTE_FLOW_ACTION_TYPE_SHARED is kept for now in order not to
break the ABI. All the implementations are changed by using
RTE_FLOW_ACTION_TYPE_INDIRECT.
Since the APIs are changed from "rte_flow_shared_action*" to the new
"rte_flow_action_handle*" and the "update" interface's 3rd input
parameter is changed to generic pointer, the mlx5 PMD that uses these
APIs needs to do the adaption to the new APIs as well.

Currently, the queue stats mapping has the following problems:
1) Many PMD drivers don't support queue stats mapping. But there is no
failure message after executing the command "set stat_qmap rx 0 2 2".
2) Once queue mapping is set, unrelated and unmapped queues are also
displayed.
3) The configuration result does not take effect or can not be queried
in real time.
4) The mapping arrays, "tx_queue_stats_mappings_array" &
"rx_queue_stats_mappings_array" are global and their sizes are based
on fixed max port and queue size assumptions.
5) These record structures, 'map_port_queue_stats_mapping_registers()'
and its sub functions are redundant for majority of drivers.
6) The display of the queue stats and queue stats mapping is mixed
together.
Since xstats is used to obtain queue statistics, we have made the
following simplifications and adjustments:
1) If PMD requires and supports queue stats mapping, configure to driver
in real time by calling ethdev API after executing the command "set
stat_qmap rx/tx ...". If not, the command can not be accepted.
2) Based on the above adjustments, these record structures,
'map_port_queue_stats_mapping_registers()' and its sub functions can
be removed. "tx-queue-stats-mapping" & "rx-queue-stats-mapping"
parameters, and 'parse_queue_stats_mapping_config()' can be removed
too.
3) remove display of queue stats mapping in 'fwd_stats_display()' &
'nic_stats_display()', and obtain queue stats by xstats. Since the
record structures are removed, 'nic_stats_mapping_display()' can be
deleted.

All shared actions created via testpmd CLI assigned ID for further
reference in other CLI commands. Shared action ID supplied as CLI
argument or assigned by testpmd is similar to flow ID & limited to
scope of testpdm CLI.
Create shared action syntax:
flow shared_action {port_id} create [action_id {shared_action_id}]
[ingress] [egress] action {action} / end
Create shared action examples:
flow shared_action 0 create action_id 100 \
ingress action rss queues 1 2 end / end
This creates shared rss action with id 100 on port 0.
flow shared_action 0 create action_id \
ingress action rss queues 0 1 end / end
This creates shared rss action with id assigned by testpmd
on port 0.
Update shared action syntax:
flow shared_action {port_id} update {shared_action_id}
action {action} / end
Update shared action example:
flow shared_action 0 update 100 \
action rss queues 0 3 end / end
This updates shared rss action having id 100 on port 0
with rss to queues 0 3 (in create example rss queues were
1 & 2).
Destroy shared action syntax:
flow shared_action {port_id} destroy action_id {shared_action_id} [...]
Destroy shared action example:
flow shared_action 0 destroy action_id 100 action_id 101
This destroys shared actions having id 100 & 101
Query shared action syntax:
flow shared_action {port} query {shared_action_id}
Query shared action example:
flow shared_action 0 query 100
This queries shared actions having id 100
Use shared action as flow action syntax:
flow create {port_id} ... / end actions [action / [...]]
shared {action_id} / [action / [...]] end
Use shared action as flow action example:
flow create 0 ingress pattern ... / end \
actions shared 100 / end
This creates flow rule where rss action is shared rss action
having id 100.
All shared action CLIs report status of the command.

Currently, the information of Rx/Tx queues from PMD driver is not
displayed exactly in the rxtx_config_display function. Because
"ports[pid].rx_conf" and "ports[pid].tx_conf" maintained in testpmd
application may be not the value actually used by PMD driver. For
instance, user does not set a field, but PMD driver has to use the
default value.
This patch fixes rxtx_config_display so that the information of Rx/Tx
queues can be really displayed for the PMD driver that implement
.rxq_info_get and .txq_info_get ops callback function.

The number of desc is a per queue configuration. But in the check
function, nb_txd & nb_rxd are used to check whether the desc_id is
valid. nb_txd & nb_rxd are the global configuration of number of desc.
If the queue configuration is changed by cmdline liks: "port config xx
txq xx ring_size xxx", the real value will be changed.
This patch use the real value to check whether the desc_id is valid.
And if these are not configured by user. It will use the default value
to check it, since the rte_eth_rx_queue_setup & rte_eth_tx_queue_setup
will use a default value to configure the queue if nb_rx_desc or
nb_tx_desc is zero.

Currently, if nb_txd is not set, the txpkts is not allowed to be set
because the nb_txd is used to avoid the number of segments exceed the Tx
ring size and the default value of nb_txd is 0. And there is a bug that
nb_txd is the global configuration for Tx ring size and the ring size
could be changed by some command per queue. So these valid check is
unreliable and introduced unnecessary constraints.
This patch adds a valid check function to use the real Tx ring size to
check the validity of txpkts.

To set Tx vlan offloads, it is required to stop port firstly. But before
checking whether the port is stopped, the port id entered by the user
is not checked for validity. When the port id is illegal, it would lead
to a segmentation fault since it attempts to access a member of
non-existent port.
This patch adds verification of port id in tx vlan offloads and remove
duplicated check.
