119786aa6e app/testpmd: remove duplicated flow type name table
Flow type table has two instance, one is used for flow type to string
conversion, and other is used for string to flow type conversion.
And tables are diverged by time.

Unifying tables to prevent maintaining two different tables.

Note: made 'flowtype_to_str()' and 'str_to_flowtype()' non-static to
prevent build error for the case PMDs using it disables. Making the two
functions generic, not for some PMDs.

d7bfa4df99 app/testpmd: reorder RSS type table
There are group and individual types in rss_type_table[]. However, group
types are very scattered, and individual types are not arranged based on
the bit number order in 'RTE_ETH_RSS_xxx'. For a clear distribution of
types and better maintenance, this patch reorders this table.

44a37f3cff app/testpmd: compact RSS types output
In port info command output, 'show port info all', supported RSS offload
types printed one type per line, and although this information is not
most important part of the command it takes big part of the command
output.

In port RSS hash and flow RSS command output, 'show port 0 rss-hash',
and 'flow query 0 0 rss', all enabled RSS types are printed on one line.
If there are many types, the print will be very long.

Compacting these RSS offloads and types output by fixing the length of
the character string printed on each line, instead of one per line or
one line.
Output becomes as following:

Supported RSS offload flow types:
  ipv4-frag ipv4-tcp ipv4-udp ipv4-sctp ipv4-other
  ipv6-frag ipv6-tcp ipv6-udp ipv6-sctp ipv6-other
  l4-dst-only l4-src-only l3-dst-only l3-src-only

9ad341b5c5 app/testpmd: refactor config all RSS command
The "port config <port_id> rss-hash-key" and "show port <port_id>
rss-hash key" commands both use the 'rss_type_table[]' to get
'rss_types' or the RSS type name. So this patch uses the
'rss_type_table[]' to get the RSS types. In this way, this command
naturally supports more individual types.

b0f02d9a82 app/testpmd: unify name of L2 payload offload
Currently, the "port config all rss xx" command uses 'ether' name to match
and to set 'RTE_ETH_RSS_L2_PAYLOAD' offload. However, others RSS command,
such as, "port config <port_id> rss-hash-key" and "show port <port_id>

3c23ee6cdd app/testpmd: fix supported RSS offload display
The rte_eth_dev_info.flow_type_rss_offloads is populated in terms of
RTE_ETH_RSS_* bits. If PMD sets RTE_ETH_RSS_L3_SRC_ONLY to
dev_info->flow_type_rss_offloads. testpmd will display "user defined 63"
when run 'show port info 0'. Because testpmd use flowtype_to_str()
to display the supported RSS offload of PMD. In fact, the function is
used to display flow type in FDIR commands for i40e or ixgbe. This patch
uses the RTE_ETH_RSS_* bits to display supported RSS offload of PMD.

4b27989d24 app/testpmd: cleanup port resources after implicit close
When a port is closed implicitly by the PMD, for example,
if it is a representor port and its master port is detached,
flow indirect actions could remain with their handles no longer valid.
If a newly attached device is assigned the same ID as the closed port,
those indirect actions became accessible again.
Any attempt to use them resulted in an undefined behavior.
Flow flex items had no such issue on close, but had it on detach.

Introduce flush_port_owned_resources() function for consistent
cleanup and call it when a port is closed or detached.
Make it flush flow rules and multicast addresses too
because they logically belong to the port being removed.

f41a5092e6 app/testpmd: add host shaper command
Add command line options to support host shaper configure.
- Command syntax:
  mlx5 set port <port_id> host_shaper avail_thresh_triggered <0|1> rate
<rate_num>

- Example commands:
To enable avail_thresh_triggered on port 1 and disable current host
shaper:
testpmd> mlx5 set port 1 host_shaper avail_thresh_triggered 1 rate 0

To disable avail_thresh_triggered and current host shaper on port 1:
testpmd> mlx5 set port 1 host_shaper avail_thresh_triggered 0 rate 0

The rate unit is 100Mbps.
To disable avail_thresh_triggered and configure a shaper of 5Gbps on
port 1:
testpmd> mlx5 set port 1 host_shaper avail_thresh_triggered 0 rate 50

bc70e55948 ethdev: introduce available Rx descriptors threshold
A new event RTE_ETH_EVENT_RX_AVAIL_THRESH should be generated by HW

a058de216c app/testpmd: fix GTP header parsing in checksum engine
GTP header can be followed by an optional 32 bits extension.
GTP notifies about the extension presence through the E, S or PN

e2b1848455 app/testpmd: fix flow rule creation parsing
A pattern template creation shares the parsing mechanism with
a simple flow creation. The pattern template creation only consists
of pattern items while the flow creation continues with actions.
The parsing mechanism now accommodates both cases and allows to stop

d9e597141f app/testpmd: fix raw encap of GENEVE option
The structure "rte_flow_item_geneve_opt" is not a protocol header of
geneve tunnel option from rfc8926. The field "data" is a pointer
which points to the actual variable-length option data. So the
structure is not packed.

There is 4 bytes hole before the pointer in a 64-bit system. The
option header is just 4 bytes. When using offsetof() to get the
fixed part's size of option header, the wrong value 8 was got. When
constructing the encap header, a wrong size and offset was used due
to this hole.

With this commit, the fixed part's size is calculated explicitly
based on all fields.

993677affe app/testpmd: fix GENEVE parsing in checksum mode
The csum FWD mode parses any received packet to set mbuf offloads for
the transmitting burst, mainly in the checksum/TSO areas.
In the case of a tunnel header, the csum FWD tries to detect known
tunnels by the standard definition using the header's data and fallback
to check the packet type in the mbuf to see if the Rx port driver
already sign the packet as a tunnel.
In the fallback case, the csum assumes the tunnel is VXLAN and parses
the tunnel as VXLAN.
When the GENEVE tunnel was added to the known tunnels in csum, its
parsing trial was wrongly located after the pkt type detection, causing
the csum to parse the GENEVE header as VXLAN when the Rx port set the
tunnel packet type.

Remove the fall back case to VXLAN.
Log error of unrecognized tunnel if no tunnel was parsed successfully.

26b7259a79 app/testpmd: support GRE option flow item
Add gre_option command for matching optional fields
(checksum/key/sequence) in GRE header. The item must follow gre item,
and the item does not change the flags in gre item, the application
should set the flags in gre item correspondingly.
Application can still use gre_key item 'gre_key value is xx' for key
matching, the effect is the same with using 'gre_option key is xx'.

The examples for gre_option are as follows:

To match on checksum field with value 0x11:

		0x11 / end ..

To match on checksum field with value 0x11 and any value of key:

		checksum is 0x11 / end ..

To match on checksum field with value 0x11 and no key field in packet:
testpmd> ... pattern / eth / gre c_bit is 1 k_bit is 0 / gre_option
		checksum is 0x11 / end ..

The invalid patterns for gre_option are as follows:

testpmd> ... pattern / eth / gre / gre_option checksum is 0x11 / end ..

testpmd> port start 2
testpmd> set bonding mode 0 2
testpmd> quit
Stopping port 0...

Segmentation fault

The reason to the bug is that rte timer do not be cancelled when quit.
That is, in 'bond_ethdev_start', resources are allocated according to
different bonding mode. In 'bond_ethdev_stop', resources are free by
the corresponding mode.

For example, 'bond_ethdev_start' start bond_mode_8023ad_ext_periodic_cb
timer for bonding mode 4. and 'bond_ethdev_stop' cancel the timer only
when the current bonding mode is 4. If the bonding mode is changed,
and directly quit the process, the timer will still on, and freed memory
will be accessed, then segmentation fault.

'bonding mode' changed means resources changed, reallocate resources for
different mode should be done, that is, device should be restarted.

13b196425c app/testpmd: fix external buffer allocation
External pinned buffer memory (--mp-alloc=xbuf)
was allocated as multiple IOVA-contiguous memzones
of 2M size and 2M alignment.
Due to the malloc overhead and the alignment requirement,
each 2M memzone consumed 4M of hugepage memory:
2M of usable memory + X of malloc overhead + (2M-X) padding.
The allocation often failed with 2M hugepages and IOVA-as-PA
if a PA-contiguous span of 2 hugepages could not be found.
Also, with any hugepage size and IOVA mode
memory consumption was almost 2x of the usable amount.

Alignment requirement of 2M for external buffers is redundant.
It was an attempt to ensure IOVA-contiguity
by forcing memzones to start at hugepage boundaries,
while 2M size intended to leave no unused space on the page.
As shown above, this in fact caused excessive memory consumption
and decreased the chance of a successful allocation.
RTE_MEMZONE_F_IOVA_CONTIG already ensures IOVA-contiguity.

Remove the alignment requirement.
Reduce the memzone size by the malloc overhead size (4 cache lines),
so that memory consumption for each memzone is
(2M-X) of usable memory + X of malloc overhead = 2M.
This also means that whenever there are free 2M hugepages,
an IOVA-contiguous memzone can always be allocated.

849e6ddc6a app/testpmd: fix tunnel offload validation
Tunnel offload API allows application to restore packet to
its original form if chain of flows missed after DECAP action.
The main idea of the tunnel offload API was to query port PMD
to provide flow elements - actions or items.
Flow elements supplied by PMD are merged with original flow rule
elements provided by testpmd operator to create a new flow rule,
optimal for PMD, to implement the tunnel offload API.
That flow rule transformation is hidden form testpmd operator and uses
internal testpmd resources.

Testpmd provides 2 sets of flex item create and destroy functions
One for hosts with JSON library. These functions parse
flex item configuration stored in JSON file and create or destroy

On hosts without JSON library, current implementation issues

8e1d0547d6 app/testpmd: fix RSS key length
port_rss_hash_key_update() initializes rss_conf with the
RSS key configuration provided by the user, but it calls

While the RSS key value is set again after, this is not

59f3a8acbc app/testpmd: add flex item commands
Network port hardware is shipped with fixed number of
supported network protocols. If application must work with a
protocol that is not included in the port hardware by default, it
can try to add the new protocol to port hardware.

Flex item or flex parser is port infrastructure that allows
application to add support for a custom network header and
offload flows to match the header elements.

Application must complete the following tasks to create a flow
rule that matches custom header:

1. Create flow item object in port hardware.
Application must provide custom header configuration to PMD.
PMD will use that configuration to create flex item object in
port hardware.

2. Create flex patterns to match. Flex pattern has a spec and a mask
components, like a regular flow item. Combined together, spec and mask
can target unique data sequence or a number of data sequences in the
custom header.
Flex patterns of the same flex item can have different lengths.
Flex pattern is identified by unique handler value.

3. Create a flow rule with a flex flow item that references
flow pattern.

Testpmd flex CLI commands are:

testpmd> flow flex_item create <port> <flex_id> <filename>

testpmd> set flex_pattern <pattern_id> \
         spec <spec data> mask <mask data>

testpmd> set flex_pattern <pattern_id> is <spec_data>

testpmd> flow create <port> ... \
/ flex item is <flex_id> pattern is <pattern_id> / ...

The patch works with the jansson library API.
A new optional dependency on jansson library is added for
testpmd. If jansson not detected the flex item functionality
is disabled.
Jansson development files must be present:
jansson.pc, jansson.h libjansson.[a,so]

2566c33c71 app/testpmd: add flow command parsing routine
testpmd flow creation is constructed from these procedures:
  1. receive string with flow rule description;
  2. parse input string and build flow parameters: port_id value,
     flow attributes, items array, actions array;
  3. create a flow rule from flow rule parameters.

Flow rule creation procedures are built as a pipeline. A new
procedure starts immediately after successful predecessor completion.
Due to this we have no dedicated routines providing intermediate
results for step 1-3 above.

The patch adds `flow_parse()` function call. It parses input string
and provides a caller with parsed data. This is a preparation step
for introducing flex item command processing.
