In Multi-Function Mode (MFP) particularly when the PF VSI is set in limited promiscuous mode, the HW switch was still mirroring the outgoing packets from other VSIs (VF/VMdq) onto the PF VSI. This sets a new bit to avoid above mirroring, and it is in limited promiscuous on the PF VSI in MFP which is similar to default port VSI.
