Wenzhuo Lu d4c9ffd4fe ixgbe/base: disable X550em FEC to save power ... The FEC (Forward Error Correction) feature can improve BER (Bit Error Rate) but uses more power to do so. It also cannot be used with EEE (Energy Efficient Ethernet). EEE is an important feature, and we have no known BER issues, so FEC is not needed.
