1) Change each split_disk to just point to a
split_base structure and drop the extra base_bdev
member. We can get the bdev from the split_base.
2) Simplify the names a bit for some of the members:
split_base::base_bdev to split_base::bdev and
split_disk::split_base to split_disk::base.
