If MK_INSTALL_AS_USER==yes and we are not root, filter the mtree input
to avoid problems with [gu]name and [gu]id settings.
Make it easier to subst some dirs in dirdeps with variables.
Tweak M_dep_qual_fixes esp. for pseudo machines like "host"
so that it can DTRT against _machines (in dirdeps.mk).
Fixed a panic that occurs when bringing up an interface on 57710/57711
running very old bootcode versions.
Fixed how bool is defined for those who have been using this code on older
versions of FreeBSD.

I changed it to use if_transmit a while ago but apparently with monitor
mode the if_transmit method is overridden.
This is (mostly) a workaround until a more permanent solution can be
found.

when they return to real mode. This can cause a fault when BTX re-enters
protected mode after the BIOS mode returns.

The device name was incorrect due to a specific function we ported
from the Linux driver that is not FBSD compatible. This resulted
with a false sysctl registration and some more problematic issues.
The patch basically revokes it all together.

This is transparently backward compatible.

This is the sequence that OpenBSD uses when enabling
MSI interrupts, and works fine on real h/w.
In bhyve, convert the 4 byte write to a 2-byte write to
the r/w area past the first 2 r/o bytes of a capability.
