012c55b70a Set clock prescale based on BIOS supplied value instead of trying to
calculate an optimum value from (constant) parameters.
This should set the SCNTL3 register of the 53c860 and 53c875 to twice
the divider it used to be, since cards based on those chips seem to use
an 80MHz clock instead of the Clock Doubler feature and a 40MHz clock.

a873bed409 Delete -DGOOD_SELECT from CFLAGS, we don't have it. This is used to
indicate that select() returns the leftover time remaining in the timeval
arg of select, we don't do that (yet :-).

a5eafc88c5 Argh! caught! *blush*.. This program was supplying it's own 'err' routine
which was slightly different to the libc one. To save any more cunfusion,
use the libc one.

72cf92af79 Fix some bogons:
- timeval in select loop was depending on not having the remaining time
returned from select(), causing a busy spin on an implementation that
  does implement it.
- the err() usage was pretty bogus, some of the error messages had
strerror attached manually and then reattached by err().

109d53254e Back out the recent DEPEND changes - as Bruce points out, it's bogus.
I'll leave any future Makefile hackery to him since he's clearly thought
about this a great deal more than I have.

48ad282fbc It appears that with FreeBSD-current, we need to set the ethernet
frame type in network byte order. The htons() that wasn't needed in
2.1 is now required in 2.2.

Ultimately, this rarpd should be replaced with the more recent one
supplied with the new BPF distribution.

ccfe8b12a9 The socketpair(0 syscall is bogusly returning the fd numbers through
the primary and secondary return codes, causing it to not behave as
documented. This probably originates from the ancient BSD kernels that
had pipe(2) implemented by socketpair(2), there are no binaries left that
we can run that do this.

ee3725a1c1 route.c:RTM_ADD does not check for a netmask before doing a tree walk
like it does elsewhere. This is probably only happens when incorrect
args are given to route(8), or when running with non-IPv4 stacks but
incorrect args to the route command is no excuse for panicing!
