Following discussions on the mailing list [1] and since nobody stood up to
implement the necessary cleanups, here is the ivshmem integration removal.
There is not much to say about this patch, a lot of code is being removed.
The default configuration file for packet_ordering example is replaced with
the "native" x86 file.
The only tricky part is in eal_memory with the memseg index stuff.
More cleanups can be done after this but will come in subsequent patchsets.

The autotest lists, requirements and distribution needs a big rework
to reduce the amount of cores and memory required.
The root cause is not addressed yet.
This patch just increase some memory allocation for some greedy tests
which often fail because of memory fragmentation:
LPM6 and reentrancy tests in groups 3 and 6 respectively.

Some tests can fail to run because they are not compiled.
It has been more visible recently when the PCI test became disabled
in the default configuration because of dependency on libarchive:
PCI autotest: Fail [Not found]
The autotest script catch them and do not count them as an error anymore:
PCI autotest: Skipped [Not Available]
The commands dump_ring and dump_mempool are removed from the autotest list
because they are some internal commands but not some registered tests.
Thus they cannot be parsed as available test commands.

Certain internal mechanisms of DPDK access different file system
structures (e.g. /sys/bus/pci/devices). It is difficult to test
those cases automatically by a unit test when such path is not
hard-coded and there is no simple way how to distribute fake ones
with the current testing environment.
This patch adds a possibility to declare a resource embedded in
the test binary itself. The structure resource cover the generic
situation - it provides a name for lookup and pointers to the
embedded data blob. A resource is registered in a constructor by
the macro REGISTER_RESOURCE.
Some initial tests of simple resources is included and added into
the group_1.

The log history uses rte_mempool. In order to remove the mempool
dependency in EAL (and improve the build), this feature is deprecated.
The ABI is kept but the behaviour is now voided because it seems this
function was not used. The history can be read from syslog.

The cycles test was wrongly in the group of mempool perf test.
It is moved in parallel test group 1 with timer test.

The LPM performance tests should not be mixed with
functional tests: they are long and show some statistics.
LPM6 functional tests are added to parallel tests.

The hash test (located in group_2) may require more than 64MB of memory,
especially if the memory is physically fragmented, making the test to
fail. So increase the memory to 128MB to avoid this issue.

Hash_autotest is in test group 2 which had only 32 MB
of memory, which is increased to 64 MB to make it run.

Each test requires a certain minimal amount of memory.
Spreading memory on all sockets means that the test will get less memory than
what it wanted on multi sockets system.
So replace all_sockets() with per_sockets().
Also doubled memory on group_5 as current requirement is not enough.

This commit removes trailing whitespace from lines in files. Almost all
files are affected, as the BSD license copyright header had trailing
whitespace on 4 lines in it [hence the number of files reporting 8 lines
changed in the diffstat].

* Change behaviour to spread the memory specified across all sockets
rather than duplicating the memory for each one. This way the memory
size specified is the total memory needed by the test.
* Minor reordering of test cases, to ensure that ring autotest is the
final test run.

These library changes provide a new Intel DPDK feature for communicating
with virtual machines using QEMU's IVSHMEM mechanism.
The feature works by providing a command line for QEMU to map several hugepages
into a single IVSHMEM device. For the guest to know what is inside any given IVSHMEM
device (and to distinguish between Intel(R) DPDK and non-Intel(R) DPDK IVSHMEM
devices), a metadata file is also mapped into the IVSHMEM segment. No work needs to
be done by the guest application to map IVSHMEM devices into memory; they are
automatically recognized by the Intel(R) DPDK Environment Abstraction Layer (EAL).
Changes in this patch:
* Changes to EAL to allow mapping of all hugepages in a memseg into a single file
* Changes to EAL to allow ivshmem devices to be transparently mapped in
the process running on the guest.
* New ivshmem library to create and manage metadata exported to guest VM's
* New ivshmem compilation targets
* Mempool and ring changes to allow export of structures to a VM and allow
a VM to attach to those structures.
* New autotests to unit tests this functionality.
