9bfb310cf3 elfcopy: remove temporary ELF file when converting from binary
Previously a command like

  objcopy --input-target binary --output-target elf64-x86-64-freebsd \
    binary_file object.o

would leave a temporary file behind.

5868914ed4 lld: hack version and help output for compatibility with libtool
GNU libtool checks the output from invoking the linker with --version
and --help, in order to determine the linker "flavour" and the command-
ine arguments to use for various link operations (e.g. generating shared
libraries). To detect GNU ld it looks for the strings "GNU" and
"supported targets:.*elf". Since LLD is compatible with GNU ld we
include those same strings to fool libtool.

Quoting from a comment in the change:
This is somewhat ugly hack, but in reality, we had no choice other
than doing this. Considering the very long release cycle of Libtool,
it is not easy to improve it to recognize LLD as a GNU compatible
linker in a timely manner. Even if we can make it, there are still a
lot of "configure" scripts out there that are generated by old
version of Libtool. We cannot convince every software developer to
migrate to the latest version and re-generate scripts. So we have
    this hack.

5e386598a6 Merge OpenBSM 1.2-alpha5 from vendor branch to FreeBSD -CURRENT:
- Add a new "qsize" parameter in audit_control and the getacqsize(3) API to
query it, allowing to set the kernel's maximum audit queue length.
- Add support to push a mapping between audit event names and event numbers
into the kernel (where supported) using new A_GETEVENT and A_SETEVENT
  auditon(2) operations.
- Add audit event identifiers for a number of new (and not-so-new) FreeBSD
system calls including those for asynchronous I/O, thread management, SCTP,
jails, multi-FIB support, and misc. POSIX interfaces such as
  posix_fallocate(2) and posix_fadvise(2).
- On operating systems supporting Capsicum, auditreduce(1) and praudit(1) now
  run sandboxed.
- Empty "flags" and "naflags" fields are now permitted in audit_control(5).

Many thanks to Christian Brueffer for producing the OpenBSM release and
importing/tagging it in the vendor branch. This release will allow improved
auditing of a range of new FreeBSD functionality, as well as non-traditional
events (e.g., fine-grained I/O auditing) not required by the Orange Book or
Common Criteria.

cb53322fdf Revert r314907, and pull in r298713 from upstream compiler-rt trunk (by
Weiming Zhao):

builtins: Select correct code fragments when compiling for Thumb1/Thum2/ARM ISA.

  Summary:
Value of __ARM_ARCH_ISA_THUMB isn't based on the actual compilation
mode (-mthumb, -marm), it reflect's capability of given CPU.

  Due to this:
   - use __tbumb__ and __thumb2__ insteand of __ARM_ARCH_ISA_THUMB
   - use '.thumb' directive consistently in all affected files
   - decorate all thumb functions using
     DEFINE_COMPILERRT_THUMB_FUNCTION()

  ---------
Note: This patch doesn't fix broken Thumb1 variant of __udivsi3 !

abc58cc4d9 Provide proper contemporary function prototypes for many of the functions
implemented in top(1), rather than relying on K&R prototypes, which can
cause problems on targets where there are multiple incompatible calling
conventions and the compiler requires argument information to select the
correct one.

(There's a bit more to do here, since it looks like top(1) also sometimes
provides prototypes for various curses functions rather than relying on
the header file...)

    Simplify some code.

realloc() with a null pointer is equivalent to malloc, so we don't need
to handle the two cases independently.

    Fixes #46

This should help with lang/beignet and other programs, which expect
__cxa_demangle(name, NULL, NULL, &status) to return zero in status.

cc65eb4e79 Hide struct inpcb, struct tcpcb from the userland.
This is a painful change, but it is needed. On the one hand, we avoid
modifying them, and this slows down some ideas, on the other hand we still
eventually modify them and tools like netstat(1) never work on next version of
FreeBSD. We maintain a ton of spares in them, and we already got some ifdef
hell at the end of tcpcb.

Details:
- Hide struct inpcb, struct tcpcb under _KERNEL || _WANT_FOO.
- Make struct xinpcb, struct xtcpcb pure API structures, not including
kernel structures inpcb and tcpcb inside. Export into these structures
the fields from inpcb and tcpcb that are known to be used, and put there
  a ton of spare space.
- Make kernel and userland utilities compilable after these changes.
- Bump __FreeBSD_version.

3f8455b090 Add clock_nanosleep()
Add a clock_nanosleep() syscall, as specified by POSIX.
Make nanosleep() a wrapper around it.

Attach the clock_nanosleep test from NetBSD. Adjust it for the
FreeBSD behavior of updating rmtp only when interrupted by a signal.
I believe this to be POSIX-compliant, since POSIX mentions the rmtp
parameter only in the paragraph about EINTR. This is also what
Linux does. (NetBSD updates rmtp unconditionally.)

Copy the whole nanosleep.2 man page from NetBSD because it is complete
and closely resembles the POSIX description. Edit, polish, and reword it
a bit, being sure to keep any relevant text from the FreeBSD page.

3820c3aa3f calloc() and realloc() modernization.
This commit replaces calloc calls, which called calloc() as if it were
malloc() by allocating a multiple of objects as a sizeof multiplied by
the number of objects. The patch rectifies this by calling calloc() as
it was meant to be called.

This commit also replaces realloc() with reallocarray() in a similar
fashion as above. Instead of calculating the memory to reallocated
(changed) by multiplying sizeof by the number of objects, the sizeof
and number are passed as separate arguments to reallocarray(), letting
reallocarray() do the multiplication instead. Like the calloc()
adjustment above, this is approach is cleaner and more elegant than
than the previous code.

This has been tested on my production firewall and a laptop (also
running ipfilter).

ed085b68ab Upgrade our copies of clang, llvm, lld, lldb, compiler-rt and libc++ to
4.0.0 (branches/release_40 296509). The release will follow soon.

Please note that from 3.5.0 onwards, clang, llvm and lldb require C++11
support to build; see UPDATING for more information.

Also note that as of 4.0.0, lld should be able to link the base system
on amd64 and aarch64. See the WITH_LLD_IS_LLD setting in src.conf(5).
Though please be aware that this is work in progress.

Release notes for llvm, clang and lld will be available here:

b215ceaaec Add sem_clockwait_np()
This function allows the caller to specify the reference clock
and choose between absolute and relative mode. In relative mode,
the remaining time can be returned.

The API is similar to clock_nanosleep(3). Thanks to Ed Schouten
for that suggestion.

While I'm here, reduce the sleep time in the semaphore "child"
test to greatly reduce its runtime. Also add a reasonable timeout.

2495a63064 Reset failed login count to zero when removing a blocked address
The blacklistd daemon keeps records of failed login attempts for
each address:port that is flagged as a failed login. When a
successful login occurs for that address:port combination,
the record's last update time is set to zero, to indicate no current
failed login attempts.

Reset the failed login count to zero, so that at the next failed
login attempt, the counting will restart properly at zero. Without
this reset to zero, the first failed login after a successful login
will cause the address to be blocked immediately.

When debugging is turned on, output more information about database
state before and after the database updates have occured.

A similar patch has already been upstreamed to NetBSD.

ea3431376e Improve ipfw rule creation for blacklist-helper script
When blocking an address, the blacklist-helper script
needs to do the following things for the ipfw packet
filter:

 - create a table to hold the addresses to be blocked,
so lookups can be done quickly, and place the address
to be blocked in that table
 - create rule that does the lookup in the table and
   blocks the packet

The ipfw system allows multiple rules to be inserted for
a given rule number. There only needs to be one rule
to do the lookup per port. Modify the script to probe
for the existence of the rule before attempting to create
it, so only one rule is inserted, rather than one rule per
blocked address.

26ab9a178c localtime: return NULL if time_t out of range of struct tm
Previously we would truncate tm.tm_year for any time_t corresponding to
a year that does not fit in int. This issue was discovered because it
caused the bash-static build to fail when linking with LLD.

As reported by Rafael Espíndola:

    Configure has

    AC_FUNC_MKTIME

which expands to a test of mktime that fails with the freebsd
implementation. Given that, bash compiles a mktime.o file that
defines just mktime and uses localtime. That goes in a .a file
    that is before libc.

The freebsd libc defines mktime in localtime.o, which also defines
    localtime among other functions.

When lld sees an undefined reference to mktime from libc, it uses
the bash provided one and then tries to find a definition of
localtime. It is found on libc's localtime.o, but now we have a
    duplicated error.

The reason it works with bfd is that bash doesn't use mktime
directly and the undefined reference from libc is resolved to the
libc implementation. It would also fail to link if bash itself
    directly used mktime.

The bash-static configure test verifies that, for many values of t, either
localtime(t) returns NULL or mktime(localtime(t)) == t. This test failed
when localtime returned a truncated tm_year.

This was fixed in tzcode in 2004 but has persisted in our tree since
rS2708.

635f2911b0 Merge content from ^/projects/netbsd-tests-upstream-01-2017 into ^/head
The primary end-goal of this drop is ease future merges with NetBSD and
collaborate further with the NetBSD project.

The goal was (largely, not completely as some items are still oustanding
in the NetBSD GNATS system) achieved by doing the following:
- Pushing as many changes required to port contrib/netbsd-tests
back to NetBSD as possible, then pull the upstream applied changes
  back in to FreeBSD.
- Diff reduce with upstream where possible by:
-- Improving libnetbsd header, etc compat glue.
-- Using _SED variables to modify test scripts on the fly for items
that could not be upstreamed to NetBSD.

As a bonus for this work, this change also introduces testcases for
uniq(1).

Many thanks to Christos for working with me to get many of the changes

fcf596178b Merge projects/ipsec into head/.
Small summary
 -------------

o Almost all IPsec releated code was moved into sys/netipsec.
o New kernel modules added: ipsec.ko and tcpmd5.ko. New kernel
option IPSEC_SUPPORT added. It enables support for loading
and unloading of ipsec.ko and tcpmd5.ko kernel modules.
o IPSEC_NAT_T option was removed. Now NAT-T support is enabled by
  default. The UDP_ENCAP_ESPINUDP_NON_IKE encapsulation type
support was removed. Added TCP/UDP checksum handling for
inbound packets that were decapsulated by transport mode SAs.
setkey(8) modified to show run-time NAT-T configuration of SA.
o New network pseudo interface if_ipsec(4) added. For now it is
build as part of ipsec.ko module (or with IPSEC kernel).
It implements IPsec virtual tunnels to create route-based VPNs.
o The network stack now invokes IPsec functions using special
methods. The only one header file <netipsec/ipsec_support.h>
should be included to declare all the needed things to work
  with IPsec.
o All IPsec protocols handlers (ESP/AH/IPCOMP protosw) were removed.
Now these protocols are handled directly via IPsec methods.
o TCP_SIGNATURE support was reworked to be more close to RFC.
o PF_KEY SADB was reworked:
  - now all security associations stored in the single SPI namespace,
and all SAs MUST have unique SPI.
  - several hash tables added to speed up lookups in SADB.
  - SADB now uses rmlock to protect access, and concurrent threads
can do SA lookups in the same time.
  - many PF_KEY message handlers were reworked to reflect changes
    in SADB.
  - SADB_UPDATE message was extended to support new PF_KEY headers:
    SADB_X_EXT_NEW_ADDRESS_SRC and SADB_X_EXT_NEW_ADDRESS_DST. They
can be used by IKE daemon to change SA addresses.
o ipsecrequest and secpolicy structures were cardinally changed to
avoid locking protection for ipsecrequest. Now we support
only limited number (4) of bundled SAs, but they are supported
  for both INET and INET6.
o INPCB security policy cache was introduced. Each PCB now caches
used security policies to avoid SP lookup for each packet.
o For inbound security policies added the mode, when the kernel does
check for full history of applied IPsec transforms.
o References counting rules for security policies and security
associations were changed. The proper SA locking added into xform
  code.
o xform code was also changed. Now it is possible to unregister xforms.
tdb_xxx structures were changed and renamed to reflect changes in
SADB/SPDB, and changed rules for locking and refcounting.

4ee07888b7 Pull in r293536 from upstream compiler-rt trunk:
Recommit: Stop intercepting some malloc-related functions on FreeBSD
  and macOS

  Summary:
In https://bugs.freebsd.org/215125 I was notified that some configure
scripts attempt to test for the Linux-specific `mallinfo` and
`mallopt` functions by compiling and linking small programs which
references the functions, and observing whether that results in
  errors.

FreeBSD and macOS do not have the `mallinfo` and `mallopt` functions,
so normally these tests would fail, but when sanitizers are enabled,
they incorrectly succeed, because the sanitizers define interceptors
for these functions. This also applies to some other malloc-related
  functions, such as `memalign`, `pvalloc` and `cfree`.

Fix this by not intercepting `mallinfo`, `mallopt`, `memalign`,

Currently only rfdi is planned to be used, so rather than attempt to backport

Confirmed with aprantl, this assertion is incorrect - code can get

5be48d84be add octeon+ as an alias for octeon in GCC & binutils
In r208737 jmallett@ added support for the "mips64r2" architecture
and "octeon" CPU, and the saa/saad instructions.

Upstream binutils also added the "octeon+" CPU, and the saa/saad
instructions are only available in octeon+, not octeon. Since our
base system tool chain already accepts saa/saad with -march=octeon,
just allow octeon+ as an alias.

This allows the use of octeon+ in kernel config files, for use with both
external tool chain and in-tree GCC/binutils.

3dd7b92917 lld: do not round up PT_GNU_RELRO p_memsz
The change was made to support glibc and believed to be a no-op on
FreeBSD, but that is not the case for architectures with multiple page
sizes, such as arm64. The relro p_memsz header was rounded up to the
default maximum page size (64K). When 4K pages are in use, multiple
pages beyond the final PT_LOAD segment had their permissions changed to
read-only after application of relocations and copy relocations, which
led to a segfault in certain cases.

This reverts upstream r290986. I have started a discussion about the
upstream fix on the LLVM mailing list.

2d0512c137 Pull in r278160 from upstream llvm trunk (by Wei Mi):
Recommit "Use ValueOffsetPair to enhance value reuse during SCEV
  expansion".

The fix for PR28705 will be committed consecutively.

In D12090, the ExprValueMap was added to reuse existing value during
SCEV expansion. However, const folding and sext/zext distribution can
  make the reuse still difficult.

A simplified case is: suppose we know S1 expands to V1 in
  ExprValueMap, and
    S1 = S2 + C_a
    S3 = S2 + C_b
where C_a and C_b are different SCEVConstants. Then we'd like to
  expand S3 as V1 - C_a + C_b instead of expanding S2 literally. It is
helpful when S2 is a complex SCEV expr and S2 has no entry in
ExprValueMap, which is usually caused by the fact that S3 is
generated from S1 after const folding.

In order to do that, we represent ExprValueMap as a mapping from SCEV
  to ValueOffsetPair. We will save both S1->{V1, 0} and S2->{V1, C_a}
into the ExprValueMap when we create SCEV for V1. When S3 is
expanded, it will first expand S2 to V1 - C_a because of S2->{V1,
  C_a} in the map, then expand S3 to V1 - C_a + C_b.

Pull in r278161 from upstream llvm trunk (by Wei Mi):

Fix the runtime error caused by "Use ValueOffsetPair to enhance value
  reuse during SCEV expansion".

The patch is to fix the bug in PR28705. It was caused by setting
wrong return value for SCEVExpander::findExistingExpansion. The
return values of findExistingExpansion have different meanings when
the function is used in different ways so it is easy to make mistake.
The fix creates two new interfaces to replace
  SCEVExpander::findExistingExpansion, and specifies where each
interface is expected to be used.

Pull in r281439 from upstream llvm trunk (by Wei Mi):

Create a getelementptr instead of sub expr for ValueOffsetPair if the

This patch is to fix PR30213. When expanding an expr based on
ValueOffsetPair, if the value is of pointer type, we can only create
a getelementptr instead of sub expr.

971fa117c0 Currently the fragment info is placed at the top of the linked list
under a shared read lock. This patch attempts to upgrade the lock to
an exclusive write lock. If the exclusive write lock fails to be
obtained, the current fragment is not placed at the head of the list.

This portion of the patch was inspired by NetBSD ip_frag.c r1.4 (which
effectively removed the section of code that performed the reordering).

The patch to sys/contrib/ipfilter/netinet/ip_compat.h adds the
MUTEX_TRY_UPGRADE macro to support the patch to ip_frag.c.

The patch to contrib/ipfilter/lib/rwlock_emul.c supports this patch
by emulating the mutex in userspace when exercised by ipftest(1).

Manually force the use of __decltype in C++03 with Clang 3.4.

  <string> uses `decltype` in a way incompatible with `__typeof__`.
This is problematic when compiling <string> with Clang 3.4 because
even though it provides `__decltype` libc++ still used `__typeof__`
  because clang 3.4 doesn't provide __is_identifier which libc++
  uses to detect __decltype.

  for it.

fd3e9b3896 Put proper prototypes in tcpd.h
Clang 4.0.0 complains about tcpd.h's not-really-prototypes, e.g.:

    extern int hosts_access();              /* access control */

garbage collect the incompatible rfc931() function from scaffold.c, as
it is never used.

The previous change was flawed in terms of how it calculated the
buffer length for the sockaddr_un object. Use SUN_LEN where
appropriate and mute the Coverity complaint by using memset(.., 0, ..)
to zero out the entire structure instead of setting .sun_len to a bogus
value and strlcpy'ing in the contents of argv[1].

SUN_LEN is now being passed to bind(2) as well. For some odd reason

b9c36cc755 bzip2 does not exit after showing license as requested with --version
or --license as most apps would do, instead it waits for data to
compress on stdin. Because of that, if `bzip2 --version' is called,
bogus `bzip2: I won't write compressed data to a terminal' error
message will be displayed, and checking for bzip2 version in scripts
as in

    bzip2 --version 2>&1 | grep -o "Version [^,]*"

will hand as bzip2 would wait for data to compress on stdin. Fix
this by exiting right after showing version/license text.

I've tried to push this upstream for more than a year, but author
is unresponsive, so upstream may be considered dead.

Ubuntu applies similar fix, for the note.

Add recv callback to transport layer to better facilitate code reuse and
readability and for symmetry with send callback. Move recv_dgram and

beforementioned functions recv callbacks for the udp and lsock transports,
respectively.

Consolidate the check_priv* functions in their relevant trans*.c source to
limit scope/use.

Note: this code is roughly based content from the submitter, although this
was modified to be more of a direct move from snmpd/main.c to the trans_*.c
sources, and to reduce unnecessary static function declarations.

77ac8927fd libunwind: make __{de,}register_frame compatible with libgcc API
The libgcc __register_frame and __deregister_frame functions take a
pointer to a set of FDE/CIEs, terminated by an entry where length is 0.

In Apple's libunwind implementation the pointer is taken to be to a
single FDE. I suspect this was just an Apple bug, compensated by Apple-
specific code in LLVM.

See lib/ExecutionEngine/RuntimeDyld/RTDyldMemoryManager.cpp and
http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2013-April/061737.html
for more detail.

This change is based on the LLVM RTDyldMemoryManager.cpp. It should
later be changed to be alignment-safe.

cc7734cbac Change the process limits for RLIMIT_MEMLOCK to RLIM_INFINITY when
executing :mincore_resid

The default process limits in FreeBSD is 64kB for unprivileged users,
which empirically is too low to run the :mincore_resid testcase.

Process limits are inherited, so even though the default limit for
root users is RLIM_INFINITY, the inherited limit with "sudo" with the
default login.conf will be 64kB.

Use setrlimit to set rlim_max for RLIMIT_MEMLOCK to RLIM_INFINITY to
avoid ENOMEM issues when calling mlock to wire the mmap'ed address
space.

setrlimit requires root access to increase rlim_max, so require root
privileges when running the test

Discovered when executing the tests with sudo, e.g.
"sudo kyua test -k /usr/tests/lib/libc/sys/Kyuafile mincore_test"

3157e69de7 Pull in r281586 from upstream llvm trunk (by Wei Mi):
Add some shortcuts in LazyValueInfo to reduce compile time of
  Correlated Value Propagation.

The patch is to partially fix PR10584. Correlated Value Propagation
queries LVI to check non-null for pointer params of each callsite. If
we know the def of param is an alloca instruction, we know it is
non-null and can return early from LVI. Similarly, CVP queries LVI to
check whether pointer for each mem access is constant. If the def of
the pointer is an alloca instruction, we know it is not a constant
pointer. These shortcuts can reduce the cost of CVP significantly.

11c1fce83a Pull in r283060 from upstream llvm trunk (by Hal Finkel):
[PowerPC] Refactor soft-float support, and enable PPC64 soft float

This change enables soft-float for PowerPC64, and also makes
soft-float disable all vector instruction sets for both 32-bit and
64-bit modes. This latter part is necessary because the PPC backend
canonicalizes many Altivec vector types to floating-point types, and
so soft-float breaks scalarization support for many operations. Both
for embedded targets and for operating-system kernels desiring
soft-float support, it seems reasonable that disabling hardware
floating-point also disables vector instructions (embedded targets
without hardware floating point support are unlikely to have Altivec,
etc. and operating system kernels desiring not to use floating-point
registers to lower syscall cost are unlikely to want to use vector
registers either). If someone needs this to work, we'll need to
change the fact that we promote many Altivec operations to act on
v4f32. To make it possible to disable Altivec when soft-float is
enabled, hardware floating-point support needs to be expressed as a
positive feature, like the others, and not a negative feature,
because target features cannot have dependencies on the disabling of
some other feature. So +soft-float has now become -hard-float.

  Fixes PR26970.

Pull in r283061 from upstream clang trunk (by Hal Finkel):

  [PowerPC] Enable soft-float for PPC64, and +soft-float -> -hard-float

Enable soft-float support on PPC64, as the backend now supports it.
Also, the backend now uses -hard-float instead of +soft-float, so set
  the target features accordingly.

168fce73b5 hyperv/vss: Add driver and tools for VSS
VSS stands for "Volume Shadow Copy Service". Unlike virtual machine
snapshot, it only takes snapshot for the virtual disks, so both
filesystem and applications have to aware of it, and cooperate the
whole VSS process.

This driver exposes two device files to the userland:

    /dev/hv_fsvss_dev

Normally userland programs should _not_ mess with this device file.
It is currently used by the hv_vss_daemon(8), which freezes and
thaws the filesystem. NOTE: currently only UFS is supported, if
the system mounts _any_ other filesystems, the hv_vss_daemon(8)
    will veto the VSS process.

If hv_vss_daemon(8) was disabled, then this device file must be
opened, and proper ioctls must be issued to keep the VSS working.

    /dev/hv_appvss_dev

Userland application can opened this device file to receive the
VSS freeze notification, hold the VSS for a while (mainly to flush
application data to filesystem), release the VSS process, and
receive the VSS thaw notification i.e. applications can run again.

The VSS will still work, even if this device file is not opened.
However, only filesystem consistency is promised, if this device
file is not opened or is not operated properly.

hv_vss_daemon(8) is started by devd(8) by default. It can be disabled
by editting /etc/devd/hyperv.conf.

d2972ce0cb elfcopy: select mode by the end of the program name
The mode of operation (elfcopy, mcs, or strip) is chosen based on the
program name. Broaden this to allow a substring match at the end of the
name to allow prefixes - for example, bsdstrip or aarch64-freebsd-strip.

This improves use of these tools as drop-in replacements for GNU objcopy
and strip, which are often built with a limited set of supported targets
and installed with a target prefix for cross tools.

dc9b124d66 Create a new MACHINE_ARCH for Freescale PowerPC e500v2
Summary:
The Freescale e500v2 PowerPC core does not use a standard FPU.
Instead, it uses a Signal Processing Engine (SPE)--a DSP-style vector processor
unit, which doubles as a FPU. The PowerPC SPE ABI is incompatible with the
stock powerpc ABI, so a new MACHINE_ARCH was created to deal with this.
Additionaly, the SPE opcodes overlap with Altivec, so these are mutually
exclusive. Taking advantage of this fact, a new file, powerpc/booke/spe.c, was
created with the same function set as in powerpc/powerpc/altivec.c, so it
becomes effectively a drop-in replacement. setjmp/longjmp were modified to save
the upper 32-bits of the now-64-bit GPRs (upper 32-bits are only accessible by
the SPE).

Note: This does _not_ support the SPE in the e500v1, as the e500v1 SPE does not
support double-precision floating point.

Also, without a new MACHINE_ARCH it would be impossible to provide binary
packages which utilize the SPE.

Additionally, no work has been done to support ports, work is needed for this.
This also means no newer gcc can yet be used. However, gcc's powerpc support
has been refactored which would make adding a powerpcspe-freebsd target very
easy.

Test Plan:
This was lightly tested on a RouterBoard RB800 and an AmigaOne A1222
(P1022-based) board, compiled against the new ABI. Base system utilities
(/bin/sh, /bin/ls, etc) still function appropriately, the system is able to boot
multiuser.

b422efa4c1 makewhatis: make output reproducible
The mandoc search database generation uses each page's inode number as
a hash key to index hard linked pages only once. However, it also
processed the pages ordered by hash key resulting in effectively non-
deterministic output.

Instead:

1) provide fts_open() with a comparison function to process directories
and files in a deterministic order
2) in addition to the existing hash, insert pages into a linked list
which will be sorted (by virtue of 1)
3) iterate over pages by the list in 2, instead of hash order

I will work on upstreaming this change.

c7edf4fd0b localedef: Fix ctype dump (fixed wide spread errors)
This commit is from John Marino in dragonfly with the following commit log:

====
This was a CTYPE encoding error involving consecutive points of the same
ctype. It was reported by myself to Illumos over a year ago but I was
unsure if it was only happening on BSD. Given the cause, the bug is also
present on Illumos.

Basically, if consecutive points were of the exact same ctype, they would
be defined as a range regardless. For example, all of these would be
considered equivalent:

  <A> ... <C>, <H> (converts to <A> .. <H>)
  <A>, <B>, <H> (converts to <A> .. <H>)
  <A>, <J> ... <H> (converts to <A> .. <H>)

So all the points that shouldn't have been defined got "bridged" by the
extreme points.

The effects were recently reported to FreeBSD on PR 213013. There are
countless places were the ctype flags are misdefined, so this is a major
fix that has to be MFC'd.
====

This reveals a bad change I did on the testsuite: while 0x07FF is a valid
unicode it is not used yet (reserved for future use)

30f7128157 Make blacklist-helper commands emit a message when successful
The blacklistd daemon expects to see a message on stdout, instead
of just relying on the exit value from any invoked programs.

Change the pf filtering to create multiple filters, attached under
a the "blacklist/*" anchor point. This prevents the filtering for
each port's filtering rule from overwriting the previously installed
filtering rule. Check for an existing filtering rule for each port,
so the installation of a given filtering rule only happens once.
Reinstalling the same rule resets the counters for the pf rule, and
we don't want that.
